What we collect
Not Just Plastic!
It’s an easy misunderstanding to make — but we’re not only about plastic. There are other materials collected by BCRS too.
Beverage containers in bottles or cans can be made of:
SteelCans AluminiumCans 
GlassClear or otherwise 
PET PlasticClear or coloured …and they can contain:
- Flavoured or non-flavoured water
- Carbonated or non-carbonated soft drinks
- Ciders, beers and other malt beverages
- Ready-to-drink coffee
- Flavoured alcoholic beverages (alcohol content below 5%)
- Dilutables
Containers must be between 0.1 and 3 litres to be in scope. Refillable containers are not collected by BCRS.
