Producers, Importers, Retailers and Catering Undertakings making available non-refillable beverage containers (in scope of the Scheme) on the market shall register with BCRS Malta Ltd., including all the details it may require for the successful operations of the Beverage Container Refund Scheme.

Producer
Any person bottling, canning or otherwise filling beverages in beverage containers intended to be placed on the market.
Importer
Any person importing beverages in beverage containers intended to be placed on the market.
Distributor
Any person who makes available on the market beverages in beverage containers on a wholesale level.
Retailer
Any person who makes available on the market beverages in beverage containers at the retail level.
Catering Undertaking
Any person who makes available beverages in beverage containers on the market within a catering establishment.
Other Organisations
Any person or organisation interested in collaborating with BCRS Malta.
Event Organiser
Any person responsible for events where beverages will be sold in single use containers.
- A person who operates in the supply chain in more than one function, shall duly register for each function as producer and importer, and or distributor and, or retailer and, or catering undertaking as the case may be;
- A retailer who operates more than one retail establishment shall register each retail establishment; and
- A catering undertaking who operates more than one catering establishment shall register each catering establishment.
