A €0.10 refundable deposit is added at the producer/importer stage and refunded in full to the consumer when the empty container is returned to a retailer or Reverse Vending Machine. This is the heartbeat of the circular system.

How registration works +
Add this membership to your selection, then complete registration on the secure BCRS member portal. Any applicable fee is settled there — no payment is taken on this preview. Your obligations under the Beverage Container Refund Scheme begin once your registration is approved.
